I use both Firefox and Safari I find Safari to be very slow. To the point where I am ready to remove safari and find an alternative.

I Just figured before I removed I would ask maybe there is something I can do.

Thanks

Have you reset safari or cleared the cache in a while, cos that might help it.

I remember reading somewhere a while back that Safari was the fastest browser out of all the popular web browsers

Also, check out Safari 4 Developer Preview (free with Apple ID). Still in BETA but smokin fast. Although I do think Safari 3.1 is pretty fast by itself.

I've never thought it was slow, but I mostly use Firefox.

I definitely don't find it slow at all. It's my primary browser, I only use Firefox if I am using Stumbleupon, which isn't that often.

In my opinion, Safari is the fastest of all the browsers I have used. Firefox has never been a speed demon whether one uses it in OS X or Windows. Of course in Windows, it's much preferred over IE. (anything is preferred over IE)

The speed of a browser is very subjective. Just like the choice of word processor applications, automobiles, and so on. :)

Regards.
