There are many apps that have an evaluation period, say 15 days. They have to track that period somehow and not be fooled by a reinstall. So I got suspicious - how do they track it? My I worry that they might place some files in the depths of the file system - then I remove apps (usually useless stuff) and this garbage remains? Unacceptable. What do you think?

Download a utility called AppTrap. When you move an application or file to the trash it cleans up everything that was installed.
