ok i turned on the firewall for my mac

srry i will be more specific ok. i turned on the mac firewall provied by apple the default one. and since i turned it on i no longer can use my ipod as a remote for itunes for my macboook....

I've re-read your post a number of times now and I simply don't get it. What is it you're attempting to accomplish?

Way... way too many specs to list.
he's using the 'remote' program for his ipod touch, and his firewall is blocking the TCP connections required to do so. :)

Other than that, I don't have a clue what to set the firewall to. I don't use software firewalls.
