Hi, Today I went to the apple store. I am planning on buying a white MacBook, 2.4 ghz, 2 gb RAM. I was testing them out, the one at the store was 2.4ghz, 2gb RAM. I open itunes, it was really FAST!, then I opened safari, went to yahoo and was a little laggy. Is this normal? it was connected Wireless, i think it was using Airport Extreme i think, but also every single was connected to wifi. I just want to know if it should run like that before i buy it. thanks

was it laggy opening safari? or loading yahoo. my guess is that it was just the internet, with all the computers they have one (i assume) one connection, i'm sure the internet is a little laggy. but was it really enough to make you rethink your purchase? 'cause the computer (ANY computer) will gradually over time slow down. that's just what computers do.
