Hide all apps using keyboard only

Hi!

I Switched from Windows to Mac OS some months ago, and it's been nothing but a bliss - well, except for one thing. I can't figure out how to hide all applications (cmd + alt + click desktop, although it would be nice if it's possible to hide Finder windows as well) using only the keyboard. Sure, Exposé can almost do the trick, but not quite (1. Grey annoying borders and 2. All windows reappear, not just the one you need).

I'm using Quicksilver btw, if that helps.

Can anybody help me?

Alright, I just found this app called Show Desktop, which does excactly what I want. Using Quicksilver I've set the keyboard combination ctrl+cmd+z.

Still, if anyone knows how to do it using Applescript, that'd be awesome.
