Black Shiny Keys And Trackpad :S

How to keep Black MacBook Clean

Are the fingerprints and smudges and such permanent if not immediately/effectively removed? How can I keep it clean?
Oh , and , after how much usage (approx.) will the mostly used keys and track pad become shiny?

Whoa. Approx. usage until the keys come shiny? I don't think anyone here keeps tab and if we did we would not have any time to enjoy the computer.

Fingerprints and smudges will not become permanent. Wipe down your MacBook whenever you feel like it. Once a month or once a week. A damp cloth will do fine or you can spend money on third-party cleaning solutions.

Oh ok sounds good so its not really all that bad , cuz technically i dont have one yet .
And if you have one is it shiny?

I have a white MacBook. I don't notice any shiny keys but my trackpad is shiny.

There is however nothing to prevent this. Unless you simply don't use your computer.

Alright well I hope to buy a black one by September 15 , I pray i dont regret and die over smudges and prints and shiny(ness)
But yea i dont see people enjoying there mac if they demand perfect looks

Alright So obviously the black gets dirty easily but is it really as bad as people say? Like right out of the box it gets dirty? If anyone has a black macbook please give me some insight on how dirty it gets. Just anything will do

Dirty, no. Covered in fingerprints, yes.

My solution to this was to buy an Invisible Shield for the exterior top/bottom, palmrest area and touch pad. Unfortunately the keys still show signs of fingerprints, but not having to worry about the entire machine makes it easier to handle.

Oh ok , so the invisble shield actually works for fingerprints to?

Whats this i here about they keys and various well used areas of the black macbook becoming shiny?
Please verify these rumors and how do i avoid it if possible

My Black Macbook has developed a shiny centre part in the middle of the trackpad so if I hold it at the right angle I can see the light reflecting off it, i think it called a sweet-spot Probably because I'm using it almost 24/7 Before school, after school and during school, oh don't forget the weekends! The keys I haven't really noticed that much but holding them up to the light I can see a slight shininess to it but nothing that I would worry too much about.
