more problems after reinstall

15"MacBook Pro 2.7 GHz i7 (2013) | 15"MacBook Pro 2.6GHz (2018) both OS 10.14.1 | iPhone 6 OS 12.1
ok...some problems seems to have cropped up after i did an archive & install...
i reinstalled all the os updates one by one....but when i tried installing the latest version of safari...it said i couldn't because i needed 10.5.2 or later.
i am currently on 10.5.4!

i hope this is not a problem im about to run in to with all app upgrades...
please help!

Way... way too many specs to list.
What does it show in terminal if you type:
sw_vers -productVersion


I'm curious as to whether the OS thinks it is what it is.

it says 10.5.4
