Problem syncing Birthdays calender from MobileMe to iPhone

Hey,

basically my MobileMe account syncs the automatic Birthdays calender from the iCal on my mac to the cloud fine but it doesn't sync it back down to my iPhone even though all other calenders are fine. Does anyone know what's going on or has a similar problem?

The iPhone doesn't sync subscribed calendars of any kind, only the ones you create.

To get around this you can export the Birthdays calendar then re-import it as a local calendar and then it will sync. Remember though, when birthdays are added the local copy won't update automatically.

Thanks, I knew it wouldn't do the subscribed calenders from other websites kinda hoped because it's automatically generated by iCal they may have bothered putting it in. Ah well, update perhaps.
