Illustrator keeps crashing???

Hi Guys, I'm going crazy here. I purchased a new printer on ebay and installed the printer drivers its a samsung cp-300. Works great with photoshop and everything else other than Illustrator. It keeps crashing !!. So like a lemon I reinstalled the software for Illustrator and now it won't even open

I'm sure its not the printer as its fine with all other stuff. The console tells me this little lot but its all double dutch to me:-

I have uninstalled manually and reinstalled three times now. I done as the pdf uninstaller told me as adobe cs2 wasn't being taken completely off. So I had to do a manual uninstall to remove cs2. It all went on okay the second time but can understand where stuff is missing???

Any Tech heads out there who can help me please. I'm running OSX 10.4.11 on a G4 Dual.

Have you got Illustrator running again. Is it any file that Illus cannot print, or just one

I would just go round the problem, if Illustrator crashes everytime to that printer, but can still print to a virtual printer, then consider saving hires PDFs when you need to print and print from Acrobat

No sense tearing your hair out over a problem that might not be easily fixable

err I have now taken the whole adobe off as it was bridge and photoshop to missing stuff that were on the cd. Maybe I have a bad cd player. But to answer the above I couldn't open illustrator at all the final time. There must be some clashing issues with cs2 somewhere.

Thanks anyway for the reply. Any suggestions to how I can re-install without missing stuff off.
