I have made a handful of nice attractive pdf's on my macbook, using MS Word. They have a black background, which displays properly on my mac, but when opened on Windows machines, with acrobat reader, the background only covers 25% of the page. I have made a handful of pdf's and the problem keeps happening.

Any advice would be very appreciated.

I don't have adobe for the mac... I found a different setting that saves the file as a "pdf-x" and it seemed to work correctly. So I'm going to troubleshoot that solution and see what happens. Thanks for the reply.

The Adobe reader is a free download, also for the Mac.

Yep, and I've found (and reported) rendering differences between Reader and Preview.

Preview can sometimes have problems with transparency. And the colours sometimes darken.
