How do I quickly and easily disconnect my internet on my iMac without having to unplug the network cable from the back?

is it wireless internet? if so, just turn off the airport card, if not, just disconnect the cat5 from the ethernet port.

My Internet connection is wired. I just thought there has to be a better way to disconnect my Internet, besides unplugging the cable.
