• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I thought that I would be able to share my videos on the TV. Unfortunately, it's not as clear as it is on my Macbook. I don't know what the problem is. HD TV or s-video cable or this adapter??? Is there any way to make the quality better on the TV????

Quality is going to depend on several things: The correct adapter and displaying the videos on the TV using its native resolution.

Regards.

If you are using the adapter that goes to s-video or yellow RCA cable no. I tried everything to get that to work better on my old MacBook. I never got it to look good. It was OK for movie watching but as far as reading text it stunk.

Yes unclear resolution is one thing. It looks perfect on my macbook. Another is the sound. For some reason, the sound and the video movement doesn't match after a while. Does it have to do with my macbook or the adapter??
