I have been using Lightroom since version 1. I have been happy with it - although lately in Version 2 - it seems slow.
The retouching brush takes, what seems, forever to render.
For this reason I am looking at switching to Aperture.
I have a Mac Pro with a Xeon processor - duall core 2.66 Mhz. 5 Gb Ram and an X1900 ATI card.
Questions -
1. Would I lose anything in the switch - from metadata, the image itself?
2. Is Aperture a better Mac digital editing program than the LR ver. 2?
3. Any other tidbits of information.
