Well, it's beautiful, but it makes life horrible.

1) We have 20 inches of snow.
2) There's a state of emergency issued throughout most of Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois
3) The delievery of my Powerbook has been delayed because there was no mail today - they'll "try again tomorrow".
4) This house has a terrible heating system: the heat barely gets to my home office.

This is awful! But, it could be worse. (I'd have liked that laptop in my hands today)

I'm not even going to try sending snow. :D It'd be melted by the time you got it.. :p

Anyway, another setback: My Powerbook is stuck in another town, the Post office this morning has nothing to deliever at all. And I can't go to where the box might be, as the highways and roads are horrible..

Wonderful Christmas Eve.

Hey Murlyn,
How about I send 5 of the 20 inches I've got here, and I'll trade you my 7 degree temperature for a day? ;)

I'm spending the winter holidays with relatives in Florida. It was 74 degrees yesterday, and I was working up a sweat outside.

Ths place could use a little snow and a cool breeze every once in a while.

you could ask apple to give you a prototype g5 powerbook and by turning it on you would melt your entire town then the mail man would be able to bring you your powerbook ;)
