Help with AIM

so i got my macbook pro in yesterday, i freakin love it.. I got all my songs and photos transferred over with ease..

now im trying to download AIM for mac and it wont work. First it said you need to update stuffltexpander or w/e its called. so i did that. Now it still wont work, i just get an error message saying its unable to unarchive aim.bin into the desktop.
any suggestions on what to do?

sounds like it's corrupt, but ichat uses the AIM protocol so you can log on there too. Personally I use adium for all my instant messaging, including work

okay, so how can i talk to people who are using aim, with another program?

AdiumX or just use iChat.

Adium connects to Aim, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Jabber etc.
