I just replaced the battery in my G3 700 iBook. Now my fan runs constantly. Anyone experience this, is this normal, or do I have a problem? Thanks for any help or advice.

Is the battery identical to the original one? Or does it maybe have a different rating? (i.e. higher current or something?)
Have you checked the contacts? Maybe make sure nothing is on them...
And also check your energy saver settings...

Ok the battery thing:
if you ordered it from apple it could just be that the battery heats up more than the old one.....I can't stand the thought of my ibook g4's battery going out.......
