ipod nano and 4th gen 20gb won't show up on itunes, running on powerbook g4 10.3.3

Macbook 13.3" white 1gb/60gb and Aluminium powerbook g4 2gb/80gb
pretty much what it says in the title.

Can view them as disks on desktop, but they won't ahow up in itunes to sync.

any ideas.

You need to update to 10.3.9.

Go to Apple > software update.

To be honest, you should be more up to date anyway. 10.3.3 is very old now!

yeah, I was going to update to 10.4 but the disc has a huge scratch on it, so am sorting out my backup disk from storage.

wouldn't happen to know anywhere I can pick up a copy of 10.5 cheap?
