As I've got WD Passport connecting to my imac. Tried to delete/add file onto passport from imac but it wouldn't allow me.

As I've formatted the passport to NTFS - do this cause the problem ?

Yes, you can only read NTFS drives from Mac OS X. Not write to them...

Or ... actually you can write to NTFS drives from Mac OS X using a special driver but it can be difficult to set up. Check out this site if you feel up to it :)

That will make the drive read / writeable in Mac OS X, yes. Good to know if you do this is that you cant store single files over 4GB in size on a FAT32 drive.
