Due to a recent backup problem, I now have many duplicate pictures in iPhoto.
Is there any way to delete them, short of going through and selecting every other picture and sending it to the trash?

I have a 24" iMac running OSX 10.4.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

I have the same problem!

In the past when I upload pictures to iPhoto, they would ask if I want to upload the same pictures that are already on iPhoto. But, they don't ask that anymore. Does anyone know the answer to this? Thank You.

I have a 20" iMac G5 OSX 10.4.1

If you are not using Leopard, there is a program called iPhoto Diet that will do what you want. Unfortunately, not usable with Leopard. I don't know of an app that is compatible with Leopard, maybe somebody else does.
