I am having problems with getting out and surfing the web. The problem happen when connected wirelessly or wired. I have an IP address and am connected but it won't load or takes forever to load a webpage. It happens with either Safari or Firefox. Anything I'm missing. I first noticed this on a job with wireless internet. Would load sometimes and sometimes not. It's starting to act like a PC...lol Any help would be great. thanks

Try switching to OpenDNS: http://www.opendns.com/

You'll need to dig into your Airport options and ethernet on your MacBook and change them to reflect the OpenDNS settings. And - (this is important) when back at home using your ISP modem and router, you'll also need to get into the router settings and change the WAN DNS settings to the OpenDNS ones.

Regards.
