Haha I love the power cord "confusion"; that's awesome! It took me a long time to figure out that "closing a window" != "closing the application" (for the most part; see iPhoto and system preferences for examples). I still don't know if I like this idea better, because it requires use of the menus (which I rarely ever use if I don't have to) or memorizing a large set of new keyboard shortcuts (this is the route I've taken).
On my second day, I set up a Boot Camp partition and tried to install XP, but gave up after it wouldn't read my cd. I simply "removed" the partition, and in the process, ended up deleting 5 years of home movies from my drive. Be careful when using partitions: I didn't even get a warning when I was merging them stating that all of my data would be erased (very un-Mac-like, in my opinion).
