Hi,

We have about 10 users on the new iPhones and all are having the same issues with their calendars.

For calendar entries created on your desktop machine (Mac or PC) they update fine on the iPhone, but you are not able to edit them on the iphone. You can either accept, decline or ignore the entry. If you create the message there is no need to accept it on the iPhone surely. Accepting then sends an email to yourself telling you that you have accepted your own appointment.

If you create an appoinment on the iPhone, it then appears on your desktop machine fine, it can be edited on either device, but if you delete it on the iPhone it will not delete it from the desktop.

We are running Exchange 2003 with the latest service packs etc.

Are we the only ones with this issue, or is it a general bug/design fault of the iPhone exchange component?

Thanks in advance.

If you are invited to someone elses event why would you need to edit it? You can edit the events you create.

Also it seems like you might be confusing meeting invitations with actual meetings at times.

Issue has been resolved. The iPhone has to exactly match the defaul email address on the Exchange server. So if there are capitals in any part of the email address, it has to go into the iPhone the same.

The problem was for meetings that you create yourself, not ones sent by other people. So at times yes yo do need to edit the entry for a time change, extra details for you to remember etc.

The calendar entry on a PC goes through to the iPhone as an invitation.
