ok i was looking into HD upgrade for a MBP 17" and i work at best buy we got these Western Digital ones in last week i found this one 7200rpm 1TB which it says for WIN/ MAC but i also saw this one IntelliSeek 1TB it says only WIN on the side of the box (could i use it for mac though?) but i liked the Intelli one b/c it states "WD has reduced power consumption by up to 40 percent compared to competitors' drives with the combination of WD's IntelliSeek™, IntelliPark™, and IntelliPower™ technologies."
just wondering how fast would intelliseek be compared to 7200rpm and if it saved that much power would it matter?
