I know this is my stupidity, but when I choose "New Song" when I play the song it always has a tapping. Even when I don't have tracks the tapping is still there.

Yep same problem happened to me.

1) Go to the top tool bar.
2) Find and click the control menu
3) Uncheck metronome.

Just in case you didn't know where it was or something. I know someone just told me to go under controls and I had no idea where it was. Good luck in your music creating :)
