Safari Preferences won't open

I can´t open safari preferences... someone can help me? I tried everything... Should I put my safari DVD and try to install again?
Please help me.

Hi, MAC here (MacBook Pro 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM).
Safari Version: 3.1.2
OS Version: 10.5.4

I'm not able to open safari preferences to change whatever I want and I can't even get autofill in memory... I tried to delete all the safari files and reopen but it doesn't solve my problem... It's strange cause it's not an usual problem and I think I'm the only one who have it...
