I'm thinking about buying final cut studio 2 but its ridiculously expensive here in the UK, I'm going to New York this November and I'm thinking about buying it but i will i have to pay tax or anything on it when i bring it back? You can't put it in the hold either can you?

You will have to pay the VAT if you declare it. You can check it in your bag, but it will all depend on how thorough customs is going back into the UK.

I know it's very expensive, and I don't really have a solution or recommendation for that :\ but let me tell you it's worth every penny. It's the best video editing software there is and you won't be sorry.
