I have a firewire 800 external drive plugged into my Mac. I have a Ubuntu machine on the same metwork. How can I make it so that Ubutnu can see the drive and can read and write to it?

Thanks.

Here is how to do it in Yellowdog. Don't know if it will work in Ubuntu.
Code:
Login as root.
In a term type:
mkdir /mnt/macosx
mount /dev/hdxx /mnt/macosx -thfsplus #where xx is the drive to mount, as in hda2#
cd /mnt/macosx

The mount command in Ubuntu may not support the -thfsplus switch.
