iChat account help

Hello everyone! I just opened a free @mac.com account so I can enjoy all the features of iChat. When I login with that apple id into apple's site everything works fine, but when I try to add an account on iChat a message keeps popping up saying that my password is wrong. Do you know what am I doing wrong here, how can I fix this problem? Thanks a lot.

Hey! I found the solution, the only thing you need to do is while creating the account within iChat, just select a AIM type account instead of the mac account, it works perfectly. Let me know if it work for you.
