Connected or disconnected?

Hello everyone! I just purchased a MacBook about a week ago and I have one little question. What is better for the battery? Keep the charger connected while its available or always run it on battery except when charging? I hope you can help me, thanks!

I leave mine plugged in most of the time, but use battery about 2-4 hours a day when I'm away from my work area and take my Macbook along.

I think a judicious use of the battery (unplugged) is good for its health.
