Finder Sidebar Problem

Hello,

I have leopard and I accidently added about 900 images to my sidebar. Online I have read to delete the sidebar.plist file in the library-preferences-com.apple.sidebarlists.plist. I'm just worried that if I do this I'll never have one again. They never say what happens after you delete it? Does a new one come up and look like it did when I fist got the mac? or is it gone forever?

You could try just moving it somewhere else. If it all goes horribly wrong, stick it back where you found it.
