Mac "Mail" Speech Option Reads Your Mail..Any Other Speech Apps???

Hello, I just discovered how accurately Mac can read my mail aloud. I decided to use this application to study for an exam (it just keep repeating as I do other things)...

anyway, do any other applications do this??? Thanks a lot (this is no a frivolous question..I really want to know)

I assume you mean text to speach

that has been part of the OS since the old system 9 days, as such most apps written for mac can take advantage of it

sometimes in apps you have to highlight text to read it
