I've recently got an IPhone 3G here in Portugal and want to know if it is possible to use Apple's Remote Control to control iPod app when you are driving... I connect the iphone via cable to my car audio system and the sound is just great but I need to control the iPhone to avoid some kind of unexpected situations and of course a car accident :)

The iPhone has no IR receiver. There are some cig lighter kits that have buttons on the cig lighter part to make it easier to change songs without looking. I use one from Belkin and it has force feedback buttons on the plug that will change the songs.
