Software with letterheads & envelope templates

I just began using my Mac yesterday after 10 yrs on a PC. I used MS Works all that time & found it very simple to configure & save a personal letterhead & various size envelopes for different addresses, etc. I find iWork 08 very disappointing. Anyone have a suggestion for inexpensive software to do these basic functions?:'(

How inexpensive? :)

I use Mac Office Word 2008 which IMO is better than iWork 08 which I also have. You can find an educational copy (Home and Student) discounted on the web for around $129.00. It includes Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Entourage (similar to Outlook), and Messenger for Mac.

A good free alternative to iWork 08 and Mac Office 2008 is NeoOffice. Somewhat bloated but it works quite well. Download from here:
