• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I've never used iChat, but I imagine there would be something in the settings that allows you to calibrate your video camera - I know that Windows Live Messenger has this.

Alot of the time these cameras just seem to come out dark unless there is alot of light in the room around you. If it's even a little dark I know me and my friends cameras come out insanely dark. I'm not sure you can calibrate the camera or anything, but if you can I'd love to know how!

There's something out there called iGlasses, if I remember correctly, that lets you adjust this stuff.

MSN doesn't support video for macs BTW.

I also remember that to get rid of it you need to use the uninstaller that came in the download (or maybe it was the installer file? Can't remember), but it took me a while to figure out!
