Removal of Modem potential problems???

Ok, so i'd like to remove the modem-board (and its shield thing) to increase airflow in my laptop, as i will NEVER ever use it.

Will this cause any system problems/crashes or will it be just fine (haha not for dial-up, ovbiously)???

Just leaves the blank spot on your logic board is all. Keep it may need it back in at time of resale.

Ok cool.

yeah i should keep it i guess.
When i do, i'll prob. resell 'as is' and just say the dial-up modem was removed...
dunno yet.

can't wait to do the custom copper-shim for the heat sink though!! yeah i'm sick of leaving the computer on this stupid fan-contraption.
