My iMac G5 built in super drive will not read the dual layer OSX Leoard disk. I have bought a dual layer DVD drive. The drive will read the "Opening" window , but that's it. Whenyou click the icon to install it reboots but then defaults to the internal drive. How can I get the external drive to be recgnized and boot from start up.

You can probably use Disk Utility or something to clone the Leopard disc to a partition on an external drive and boot from that.
