New Macbook Pro-Shutting Completely?

Let me preface this by saying I'm incredibly excited. I am the proud owner of a new 15" Macbook Pro, as of about 2 this afternoon. One small question though- when I close my pro, there are some small gaps on either corner. It latches shut, but there is still space. Is this supposed to happen?

My MBP looks like that as well. It doesn't shut completely, so when you press on either side, it bends it a little bit. I thought it was kind of weird...
