I'd like to find a good quality enclosure for my 400GB Seagate Barracuda. The drive is an Ultra ATA and I'd like a Firewire 800 enclosure. I'd like one without a fan, if such exists, or as close to dead quiet as possible otherwise.

Any suggestions? :)

Regards,
Ken

i usually goto newegg.com, not the best price but they ship soooo fast, good selection. i like their web site because of the costumer reviews and the organization cant be beat. zipzoomfly.com works too. you can save a few $$ using ths pricegrabber thingy and up the hassle.

i have a fire wire enclosure i recently put an old pata drive into it. with a macbookpro, osx 10.5..4 i was able to read its microsoft format nfs. i formated on my mac for hfs+ anyways.

consider a esata box too, need to also get a esata adapter (macbookpro)
