i've been through more tutorials then i can count and have come no closer to solving my problems. So i hope that someone here may be able and willing to help. I have an ibook g3 500mhz 640ram and 20 gig harddrive and i wanted to install fc8 on it. so i set out and used the tutorial found here the problem is that i deleted all the partions on the hard drive and set it up with the Apple_bootstrap first followed by an ext3 linux partition and a swap last the install went fine which was a net install now when i have to configure yaboot with the command yabootconfig it tells me that the yabootconfig command is not found so i tried editing manualy by doing "chroot /dev/sysimage" then "vi /etc/yaboot.conf" but the dissapears when i reboot and this i where im stuck

i know this was a long post but i tried to supply as much info as possible any help to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.
