Safari was running REALLY slow, and all of my other applications were running fast (as usual) so I restarted my computer and tried it again. Still slow. So I restart several more times. Once I knew it was not going to work, I uninstalled Safari. I did a software update in hopes that it would see I was lacking Safari and try to give it to me. It did not so I went to the Apple website and downloaded it from there.
After downloading it, I tried to install the .app but it said that it (Safari) required 10.5.2 in order to be installed. I found this odd, as I have 10.5.4... So for "s and g" I tried to do the same with the Tiger version of Safari and obviously it did not work.
So then I went to my install disk and grabbed Safari off there, and it installed fine. It works really fast. But the problem is that it will not let me upgrade to the newest version of Safari because I "need 10.5.2"....
So I am stuck with an older version and a problem that I have yet to solve. Any advice?
