I hope someone can help me with this, I've tried every piece of advice i coud find in google searches, including completely removing Itunes, removing the plist's and similar files, repairing disk permissions, trying Itunes under different log in name etc. Leopard 10.5.4, itunes 7.7. When I attempt to launch Itunes I get the spinnng wheel of death for about 5 seconds then the "application itunes quit unexpectedly" Here's the first part of my crash report, not sure if the whole thing is needed:

Under dashboard the itunes player does function, also my Itunes library is fine, I have a zune music player which of course has no mac software so with parallels i run XP and the zune software uses my itunes library over on the mac os partition, zune works fine and never had an issue with either(zune and itunes) until now. This problem started(i believe) when I downloaded "the perian plug in", it first caused Toast 8.0 to fail to launch due to a component it added to quicktime, since repairing that, which included completely removing perian and reinstalling toast, is when Itunes quit, I've tried removing all of quicktimes components/plug in's as well in an attempt to get itunes to launch and no go, this is what originally brought toast back after the perian cluster F. This is driving me nuts! This is my first mac experience with crash logs, but correct me if i'm wrong its the com.apple.iTunes thats causing the crash? I can't find that entry anywhere on my mac, only com.apple.itunes.plist which i have removed numerous times to no avail. Help please! TIA

^bump^

Can someone at least enlighten me on:
Exception Type: EXC_ARITHMETIC (SIGFPE)
Exception Codes: EXC_I386_DIV (divide by zero)

I know its when an intel mac attempts to "divide by zero" which we all know from the 3rd grade isn't possible, but I have found no info on what can cause this situation, i've rummaged through several other crash reports online and have yet to run into another EXC_1386_DIV incident. Thanks.

Ok, just updated to 7.7.1 and it works! Finally.

So it must have been something with 7.7.0, others didn't have a problem with 7.7? The last two updates came at a very short interval, hmm.

Ok but now have a new problem, all my album art is gone! Won't display any album art I once had, also will not show any album pics when viewing the itunes store page, shows a broken chain link. When I try to "get album art" it says some album art can't blah blah blah, the normal message, but it finds nothing. Its got to be something with itunes itself as it won't display any graphic on the itunes store page either, arghhh, running windows through parallels to run my zune software, all the artwork is there, and it is directed to mac hd/user/music/itunes, essentially the zune software is just piggybacking my itunes directory. Any help would surely be appreciated, i'm just happy itunes is no longer crashing.
