Try the Keyboard Viewer from your country flag in the top menu bar. Press the Tab key repeatedly to see if you get any response on the Viewer.

Next to try from that same flag drop-down menu is Open International to check that the settings for your country are correct (Input Menu).

If nothing from Para 1, and the Int settings are correct, check that the USB cable is secure. Try it in a different port. In the end, it may simply be a faulty Tab key, which means a replacement keyboard.

Check elsewhere on the Forum about Keyboard settings. There've been posts about 3rd-party software that allows custom configuration of keystrokes.

Thanks Hugh.

The thing is the tab key use to work. I've tried what you have suggested but it all seems above board.

I'll keep searching.
