viewing wmv and avi files

I switched over to the IMAC a few weeks ago and I was wondering what type of free ware to use to view wmv and avi files. I tried Quicktime and Flip4mac player and im still having problems.

If someone could help me out, I would appreciate it

What kind of problems? Flip4Mac works fine here.

You might also try the free VLC player.

VLC is fab, give it a try.

Unless it's something DRM protected, Flip4Mac should work fine.....uh, also, there *are* a few unsupported codecs floating about which won't play either. I' told Perian is helpful too; http://perian.org/
