Hi

I can connect my iMAC to the Time Capsule (and internet) wirelessly but when I turn off Airport and connect via an ethernet cable I get no connection to the Internet or to my Back up files. I've tried working through "Network Diagnostics" to no avail.

I don't think its the ethernet cable as I have managed to connect a laptop to the Time Capsule using it with absolutely no problems.

Any suggestions on what I might try next?

Thanks

Mike:(

I think I've fluked this one but I've got it working using the ethernet cable. Gone into System Preferences and Network. On the left the Ethernet status was 'not connected' so clicked on this and changed the Configuration to DHCP and pressed Apply. This seems to have done it.:D
