Since Office vX doesn't carry Access, what database program should I use. Any help greatly appreciated.

You could always use MySQL, although you'll probably want to install something like phpMyAdmin or cocoaMysQL to edit the info and create tables, etc.

FileMaker is nice and easy to learn

4D is a little more powerful.

MySQL is free, and very powerful, but has a tough learning curve.
