X-Plane On Macbook?

Ok, I don't really want good graphics, All I need is a simulator to practice Instrument maneuvers for real life flying.

I have a Macbook (NOT PRO) with: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.

Now... I installed the demo version of the game, and it runs perfect, but when I called the apple store, even though the guy had no idea what i was talking about, he told me that its really different from the actual game.

I really need this, so any help will be appreciated.

Here are the system requirements for MAC copied from the sim's webpage:

G4 or G5 or Intel 2 ghz+
RAM: 1 gig for speed
3D Card: OpenGL... NVIDIA has been more reliable
VRAM: 32 meg


if it's not possible, any help and ideas will be appreciated too!

I don't know but I think the demo requires just as much as the full game
From what I understand the differences between Full and Demo are just that the demo misses maps and planes but the maps and planes it does contain require the same performance

you should be fine. The point of a demo is to test it on your own setup. If you don't like anything about it, then they don't want you paying for it and then not liking it. It will run just as well in a Demo form as a Full version.

Its open source so its free.

It runs great on my macbook pro. You can search around the website and look for the system reqs, but I don't they are much.

You can also look through aircraft library to see if they have what you need.
