Hello folks,

Is there a way to keep a web site page from timing out and having to keep logging in repeatedly? Is there any settings I could change?

I usually use Firefox, OSX Leopard.

Thanks

Web page timeouts are typically the result of a slow internet connection. If it's just certain websites, their servers are probably overloaded or something.

i think he's talking about having to log into sites, in which case, thats the sites cookies/sessions that destroy your log in; most of the time, there's nothing you can do about it, some sites offer "stay logged in" options, so have a look around user preference etc, etc,

There is one app out there that works cross browser storing all your user/pass so you don't have to fill in your creds (even on the sites that browsers don't offer the 'remember me' thing)
