New Inverter Board

I need to change the inverter board and cable on my macbook.

the one i want to buy states it is from an apple macbook 13" that has a different processor speed. will the different specs effect the replacement?

i would of thought not, so why did he mention it?

is this a problem?

It's probably the same, but just to be sure, I'd check to see if there are different parts available out at ifixit.com.

Are you sure it's the inverter and not the CCFL tube? Has the machine ever been dropped?
