Heya

am using macbook black
and just got it last year

I've got 2 problems with storage devices
1. external hardisk that are formatted with windows: I don't seem to be able to write any files to it, whereas it is working fine in windows laptop (the files are less than 4G) So I've got the software Paragon for NTFS, don't know how well that is working, as I've yet to try it properly..as I'm pretty annoyed with the incompatibility of windows and mac file systems -_-

2. 2G SD Cards are not readable via USB card reader. It's fine with other windows laptop. The USB card reader can read 1Gs fine.

Help much appreciated!!! :Smirk:

OS X can read and write to FAT, FAT-32, but only read from NTFS. If you have the Paragon NTFS driver installed and it's not working properly, contact tech support at Paragon. Also check to see if they have a later version available for download.

Have you tried reading the 2 Gb card directly from a USB port rather than using a card reader?

Regards.
