Hello..
I'm trying to set the boot drive of a Power Mac G5 (Mac OS X), without using the system preferences..i did research, and found that pressing the option key when booting should get me there (on a New World ROM mac). And I'm assuming the G5 is a New World ROM mac? seeing its newer than the G4...
But when i press the option key, the mac just boots as normal
What am I doing wrong, and what do I have to do??
Thanks
El

Your Mac's Specs
MacMini 14.3, 8.1 & 4.1, OS 13.5, 10.14, & 10.11 & 10.6; Macbook Pro 8.2, OS 10.12.
A bit more specific detail plse. Do you have two drives inside your G5? As I understand it, the Option key only works for an external hard drive connected with a firewire cable. For internal disks, I think you need to use the Startup Disk in Sys Prefs.
